The TetherTech Hub System prevents wheel-off events by holding the wheels inward via aircraft-grade aluminum wheel-end fastening components connected via steel cable that runs through the axle. Even if a lug nut fails, the system’s clamping force keeps the wheel on. The system has also been shown to reduce bearing and tire wear. TetherTech works with certain automatic tire inflation systems and installation takes less than an hour.
