June 9, 2022
Kriete Truck Centers currently operates ten locations across Wisconsin, providing heavy- and medium-duty truck sales, service, parts, and leasing-rental support for Hino, Mack, and Volvo products, as well as a variety of trailer, body, and loader options.

Kriete Trucks Centers announced that it is now an authorized dealer of Autocar-brand terminal tractors. Family-owned and operated for more than 70 years, Kriete Truck Centers currently operates ten locations across Wisconsin, exceeding the expectations of customers with heavy- and medium-duty truck sales, service, parts, and leasing-rental support for Hino, Mack, and Volvo products, the company said. The company also offers a variety of trailer, body, and loader options from brands including Barko, Cross Country, Great Lakes, Kesla, Palfinger, and Serco, and is a certified Allison and Cummins service provider.

Often referred to as “yard spotters,” or simply “spotters,” terminal tractors are most commonly used to move trailers around a customer’s grounds. Autocar, LLC carries the oldest truck brand in the United States. Autocar entered the terminal tractor business over a decade ago, and today, featuring products with Cummins engines and Allison transmissions, is a provider in the spotter market focusing on purpose-built, custom-engineered tractors with direct factory support.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Autocar in expanding our line-up of industry-leading brands, strengthening our ability to provide the kind of total transportation solutions customers today demand,” said David Kriete, President and CEO, Kriete Truck Centers. “The addition of the Autocar Terminal Tractor allows us to better serve the needs of our customer base in the highway truck market, and beyond.”

“We are proud to have Kriete Trucks Centers join our distinguished group of Autocar Terminal Tractors distributors across North America and believe with their reputation, will serve to deliver even better options to their customers transportation needs with the addition of the Terminal Tractor lineup,” said Mark Aubry, General Manager, Autocar Terminal Tractors.

Like all Autocar Terminal Tractors, the ACTT 4x2 DOT model comes standard with the largest, most durable cab in the industry, an exclusive four-point premium cab air suspension, and Autocar’s semi-trailer auto-lock system, providing safety, visibility, and driver comfort, according to the company.
