EROAD releases two new apps for drivers and fleet managers

July 15, 2022
EROAD, an Oregon-based fleet-management company, has released two new apps to increase productivity and convenience for both drivers and fleet managers.

EROAD released two new apps, EROAD Assist and MyEROAD, for both drivers and fleet managers.

EROAD Assist is an Ehubo driver companion app that functions as an extension of the Ehubo, allowing drivers to complete various tasks outside of their vehicle from a connected smart device. The app’s features include the ability to:

  • Change duty status to on or off duty
  • Certify logs dating back up to six months
  • DVIR
  • Perform pre-and post-trip inspection
  • Image capture
  • Inspect defect board integration

Meanwhile, fleet managers may also use EROAD Assist to monitor a driver’s performance, view a driver’s star rank and company rank, and provide insights into recent events including harsh braking and speeding.

The MyEROAD app enables fleet managers to track vehicles, view hours of service (HOS), and see trip histories. The apps features access to:

  • Biometric authentication (i.e. facial recognition, fingerprint ID)
  • An interactive map
  • Vehicle history
  • ETA
  • Driver list on map
  • HOS on map
  • Geofencing
  • Messaging
  • Video replay
