Equalizer SafeLift is a powered installation system that allows a technician to remove and install windshields, panoramic roofs, backlites, and body panels without a second technician.

What is the Equalizer SafeLift?

Equalizer SafeLift is a powered installation system that allows a technician to remove and install windshields, panoramic roofs, backlites, and even body panels without a second technician. SafeLift features a remote-controlled lifting operation that enables setting glass from either the left or right side of the vehicle and a rotating glass stand. SafeLift provides technicians with full mobility without heavy lifting and strain.

Use the SafeLift to remove glass

First, remove the glass stand from the base of the SafeLift, flip the glass stand over in order to receive the glass, and center it on the glass you are removing. Next, lock your suctions cups down onto the glass. Then you will take the arm with your strap and hook it onto the glass stand. There are two lift points on the glass stand depending on if you want to do a vertical or horizontal removal. Use the SafeLift remote to secure the strap and adjust the strap length to accommodate the height of the vehicle you are working with. Place your lifting or handling cup on the glass which will allow you to guide the glass. Lastly, using the remote, lift the glass out of the vehicle and then simply guide the glass around the vehicle back to the base of the SafeLift. Once in place, loosen your strap to lower the glass stand to a comfortable working height.
