TripVision, a remote diagnostic application that identifies vehicles with health, safety, or performance issues, introduced features such as ADAS fault alerts, fault oscillation, and new dashboards.

Noregon announced a major update to TripVision. TripVision is a remote diagnostic application that identifies vehicles with health, safety, or performance issues and helps fleets determine the correct action plan based on the vehicle’s condition.

The latest update—which is now available for all users—includes enhancements to the platform’s interface and introduces features such as ADAS fault alerts, fault oscillation, and new dashboards.

“For all of TripVision’s advanced capabilities, we recognize the most important aspect of the tool is a user-friendly design that’s easy to navigate,” said Jack Chung, VP of Product Management for Noregon. “We updated the interface to make it a more intuitive process for fleet personnel to quickly get critical information about their vehicles.”

One new feature is an alert for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) component faults. “ADAS systems offer major safety improvements for fleets and their drivers, but can create challenges when not functioning properly,” Chung explained. “TripVision addresses those challenges by notifying the user when these systems produce a fault. This empowers fleet personnel can make an informed maintenance decision and alert the driver of a potential issue with that component.”

Additionally, users can set alerts in TripVision for faults that oscillate between active and inactive. “Oscillating faults helps our customers identify looming issues on their vehicles. When faults bounce back and forth between active and inactive there’s often a short or other electrical problem. Fleets can use this information to determine if a repair needs to be made before the fault becomes permanently active and affects the health or safety status of the vehicle,” Chung said.

Lastly, two new dashboards are now available in TripVision. Expanding upon the existing dashboard that groups vehicles by issues such as PMs due or vehicles in severe health states, the executive and maintenance dashboards provide valuable information for benchmarking and tracking fleet performance over time.
