VIDEO: Oil leak diagnosis with Redline Detection

June 5, 2020
In this video, Redline Detection's Dual Purpose Diagnostic Leak Locator helped Scott Brown, ASE Master Certified L1 Technician, find the oil leak in a 2000 Toyota Camry.
This video is about a 2000 Toyota Camry that we had in for checking out an oil leak. Preliminary inspection revealed an approximate location from around the back of the cylinder head area. We were able to pressurize the crankcase utilizing the turbo/supercharger side of the Redline Dual Purpose Diagnostic Leak Locator which allowed us to quickly identify the source of the oil leak. Oil leaks are sometimes difficult to identify and this tool made the analysis quick and straight forward. I’m greatly appreciative of equipment that helps us accurately identify the source of trouble.
