VSP News: Kolman's Korner, Episode 105 - Tires and Tire Service

May 9, 2016
Ralph Dimenna, chief operating officer, Michelin Americas Truck Tires Division, Michelin North America, discusses the continuing evolution of tires and tire servicing.

Tires are a major expense for trucking fleets. I asked Ralph Dimenna – COO of Michelin North America’s Truck Tires Division – to shed some insight on what tire companies are doing to help fleets control tire expenses. Michelin designs, manufactures and sells tires for every type of vehicle.

He says innovation continues not only with tires themselves, but with tire service as well.

Like other truck tire manufacturers, Michelin offers a variety of services and programs.

So what does the Michelin Auto Inflate, which works with both dual and wide-base single tires, do?
