Tech Tip: What to look for in a product that cleans and sanitizes

Sept. 1, 2020
Take service one step further by cleaning and sanitizing customers' vehicles.

In addition to completing maintenance and repair work orders, shop owners can take service one step further by cleaning and sanitizing customers' vehicles. Not only does this practice help maintain a clean and safe environment, but performing this service is an excellent opportunity for technicians to teach the vehicle owner about the cabin air filter and its replacement needs. Look for products that are EPA registered and effective against bacteria, including MRSA and viruses like COVID-19. For example, the CPS MiST X-Treme meets these requirements and can be applied on all vehicles, regardless of vehicle age or type, and can be performed in a shop parking lot.
