Kolman’s Korner: Now that is one clever sign

An unforgettable message.

If you are a regular reader of Kolman’s Korner, you know that I truly enjoy signs, especially those that present a message or thought in a memorable way.

I came across such a sign while on a recent trucking trip to Long Island, N.Y.

Traveling north on the New Jersey Turnpike, as I passed a hot shot rig, I noticed a sign on the rear of its box trailer. The sign, posted on the left-hand trailer door, about three quarters of the way down read: “This is the only time in your life when you will pass a Lamborghini.”

The rig was hauling new Lamborghinis.

Too bad I didn’t have my camera at the ready.

Have you come across any memorable signs? Please email them to me at [email protected], and I will share them in a future Kolman’s Korner.
