Kolman’s Korner: Looking for competitors in the new Miss Retread Contest

March 30, 2015
This competition isn’t what you might think.

Does your organization have a good candidate for garnering the top honor in a new North American vehicle maintenance and repair competition?

Contestants are being sought for the Miss Retread Contest. The company of the winner will receive $5,000.

The competition is being held during the North American Tire & Retread Expo, set for April 15 to 17, 2015, in New Orleans.

No women

I should mention that the competition is not for gorgeous women, but rather, is for retreaded truck tires.

The honor of being declared Miss Retread, and the prize money that goes with it, will be bestowed upon the company that produced the most “beautiful” retread truck tire.

Three judges from the tire retreading industry will choose the winner.
