Survey: Searching for the commercial vehicle industry’s toughest challenges

Oct. 12, 2022
Help us identify some of the industry’s top maintenance pain points and solutions with a quick survey.

We here at Fleet Maintenance are always in search of the truth. What is really going on in the commercial vehicle industry, and what type of content will best aid its decision makers?

This starts with attending live events, listening in on webinars, reading industry reports, and interviewing experienced subject matter experts. If you’re a fleet maintenance manager, you are probably doing much of the same, though with the primary intent of improving your operation’s competitive advantage—as you should.

TAKE SURVEY HERE

As such, you are the subject matter expert we need most to help steer our future reporting, and to help us stay on the right track. We aren’t in the daily grind and rely often on anecdotal evidence to ascertain if a best practice is really the best, or if a certain challenge is industry-wide or fairly narrow. To do that, we need to start collecting more data.

And just like your fleet had to start with one truck, we are starting with one survey. So please take a moment, CLICK HERE to jump to SurveyMonkey to answer some basic questions and we will provide the results in our December print issue, along with insights from industry experts to help put these results, along with several other data points, into context.

And if you have a specific survey question to suggest, best practice to recommend, challenge to bemoan, or topic you think other readers should know about, please email [email protected]. We may not often find ourselves in the bay or under a hood, but we are always standing by the hardworking professionals of the commercial vehicle industry, ready to help you do your job a little bit better.
