The service offers several plans with varying degrees of support, including the Extended Warranty, InService Standard, and InService Dedicated plans, among others.
InCharge Energy has launched its suite of InService maintenance and repair plans for EV chargers. The program includes various plans depending on a businesses needs, from preventative maintenance to warranty work and more.
“By choosing an InService plan to support their EV chargers, customers can protect their investment over time to ensure that their equipment continues to run smoothly,” said Rich Mohr, CEO of InCharge Energy. “InCharge successfully maintains more than 15,000 charging ports networked to our InControl software platform each day, so businesses know they can rely on us to provide the service support they need—even if they have chargers from multiple manufacturers.”
InService users can take advantage of predictable payments and rapid response times, according to the company, which said the average response time for its Standard Plan was two hours, and the average dispatch time was 3 to 5 days, depending on parts availability. Additionally, fleets can customize their service and maintenance packages to pay for parts and labor in the most convenient format for them.
Current InService plans include:
Extended Warranty
Preventative Maintenance
InService Standard
InService Dedicated
InService Premium.
Additionally, InCharge Energy said that OnDemand service is available any time, as is 24/7 customer support by phone and parts and labor pricing.
On a more granular level, the Extended Warranty plan provides additional coverage for charger reliability, extending the standard warranty for an additional 1 or 3 years, as well as parts coverage. The Preventative Maintenance plan accounts for 1-2 visits from a technician per year, including regular tune-ups, flexible scheduling, and discounted parts. This plan also includes the cost for PM labor and travel time.
The InService Standard plan offers preventative maintenance and labor coverage for parts, as well as preventative maintenance, and the InService Dedicated plan offers the same services but with a technician specifically dedicated to the fleet or business.
Finally, InService Premium is the mostcustomizable offering. This plan provides complete parts and labor coverage, as well as active monitoring and remote diagnostics powered by InCharge Energy’s InControl Charge Maintenance and Management Software. InControl can work alongside any CMS a fleet is already using, the company said, and allows users to request service and remotely identify and repair up to 75% of EV charger issues.
InService also offers incremental engineering support or related specialty services, the company said, including parts warehousing and supply chain, site assessment, or site restoration services.
