ChargePoint and Eaton partner on EV charging solutions

As part of their partnership, ChargePoint and Eaton will work to provide EV chargers, electrical infrastructure, and engineering services for transportation companies.
ChargePoint and Eaton are partnering to help simplify EV charging infrastructure deployment in the U.S. and Canada. Together, the companies plan to integrate EV charging and infrastructure solutions and develop technology for bidirectional power flow and vehicle-to-everything capabilities.
“ChargePoint’s partnership with Eaton will deliver innovation that addresses the biggest barriers to electrified transportation,” said Rick Wilmer, CEO of ChargePoint. “Together with Eaton we will create unprecedented value for institutions that deploy EV charging, accelerating electrification, and decarbonizing the planet in parallel.”
More specifically, ChargePoint and Eaton will provide EV chargers, electrical infrastructure, and engineering services for transportation companies. They’ll also help streamline purchasing, designing, and deploying EV charging projects, with solutions to help fleets manage site power requirements, optimize infrastructure, and increase reliability.
