EnerSys releases new ODYSSEY Evolution ODV31 battery
The new battery is suited for medium- and heavy-duty trucks with hotel loads, APUs, and other equipment, as well as first-response vehicles and construction site machinery.
EnerSys is adding the ODYSSEYEvolution ODV31 battery to its lineup. Designed for medium- to heavy-duty trucks with hotel loads, APUs, and other equipment like liftgate trailer and reefer units, the battery features AGM2 (Absorbed Glass Mat) technology, a large operating temperature range, and more.
“The ODYSSEY Evolution ODV31 battery is a game-changer in power and durability, with the ability to provide up to 60 percent increased cycle life compared to our market-leading ODYSSEY Extreme ODX-AGM31 battery model,” said Dave McMullen, senior director of global marketing at EnerSys. “Designed to meet the demands of today’s most rugged applications, it combines proven AGM construction with our cutting-edge TPPL technology to help deliver reliable performance across a wide range of commercial and specialty vehicles.”
