American Tire Distributors names two new leadership roles
American Tire Distributors (ATD) has made two key leadership appointments that the company hopes will strengthen strategic direction and growth.
Todd Sanders has been promoted to chief sales officer, where he’ll oversee sales, customer service operations, and Tire Pros franchise development. Sanders will be responsible for leading ATD’s overall sales strategy, strengthening customer relationships, and driving alignment and performance across all channels.
Sanders brings more than 25 years of aftermarket leadership experience to the role. Before joining ATD, he held senior roles with Advance Auto Parts and CarQuest Auto Parts, where he led commercial sales programs and built out customer-focused initiatives. At ATD, Sanders most recently served as senior VP of business development & strategy, helping guide long-term growth efforts and identify new opportunities in an evolving tire and service market.
Meanwhile, Keith Calcagno has been named chief strategy officer, proprietary brands, a new position designed to grow and strengthen ATD’s private label tire lines. Calcagno, a longtime ATD executive, will focus on long-term brand strategy, innovation, and profitability within the company’s proprietary portfolio.
Over his two decades with ATD, Calcagno has helped shape the company's strategy and build key partnerships with major tire and wheel manufacturers. His background also includes financial leadership roles with DaimlerChrysler (now Stellantis) and K-mart, giving him a strong foundation in both operations and strategic planning.
“These appointments reflect our commitment to building a high-performing leadership team that is focused on delivering value to our customers and partners,” said Ira B. Silver, President & CEO of ATD. “Todd and Keith bring deep industry expertise, strategic vision, and a passion for innovation that will help propel ATD into its next phase of growth.”
