Centric Parts, a manufacturer and supplier of aftermarket brake components and systems, announced that it has greatly expanded its brake caliper remanufacturing operations in response to heavy customer demand. Extremely high demand prompted the expansion from 80,000 to 160,000 square feet of floor space at its Carson, Calif. facility. This move coincides with Centric pad assembly and kitting operations moving from Carson into a portion of the recently acquired 100,000 square feet of warehouse and office space at Centric’s City of Industry campus.

“We made this move in response to a huge increase in demand from our customers,” said Dan Mendez, Centric Caliper operations manager. “They’ve seen the quality of our remanufactured products and responded very favorably. All of these units are built to our mission statement of Right Part, Right Place, Right Time and Right Price. Customers appreciate that philosophy and know that our products are the best in the aftermarket.”

Centric Parts semi-loaded and Posi Quiet loaded calipers are engineered to meet or exceed the function of the original part. Using new hardware, pistons, boots and seals where necessary, each caliper is remanufactured to meet the most exacting standards. Every Centric caliper is 100 percent pressure tested and inspected to guarantee proper operation and fitment, ensuring worry free performance for the life of the caliper.
