Dana Holding Corporation announced that the company recently earned a Masters of Quality Award from Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA), the highest honor for suppliers to the commercial vehicle manufacturer.
Dana’s manufacturing facility in Lima, Ohio was recognized for their commitment to quality, delivery, technology, and cost performance. The largest heavy duty truck manufacturer in North America, DTNA manufactures, sells, and services several renowned commercial-vehicle brands, including Freightliner, Western Star, and Thomas Built Buses. They are also the leading producer of medium duty trucks and specialized commercial vehicles across the continent.

Now in its 28th year, the Masters of Quality Award is presented to an elite group of suppliers who meet their rigorous standards and also show a commitment for continual improvement. DTNA’s suppliers are evaluated semi-annually on more than 100 criteria related to quality, service, aftermarket parts availability, engineering, warranty, and purchasing; and only those rated at the top are recognized with the award.
