Drawing from GfK’s point-of-sale (POS) retail panel representing thousands of independent tire outlets nationwide, GfK executives will share trends and insights comparing first quarter data from 2019, 2020, and 2021 and provide insight into planning for 2021 and beyond.

The webinar also will look at emerging forces in automotive models and consumer shopping strategies impacting the tire market.

GfK participants will include Neil Portnoy, managing director, POS tracking (tires U.S.) and Dave Stevens, vice president, POS tracking (tires U.S.). Dave Zielasko, vice president of marketing and communications, TIA, will moderate the session.

“TIA is pleased to join GfK on this timely and important webinar addressing how the tire market is faring as the country begins to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Roy Littlefield, CEO, TIA. “Based on GfK’s data-driven look at the market, this webinar should provide attendees with a unique snapshot of how the U.S. tire market is performing and where it’s headed.”
