The Bridgestone Firestone FD692 Drive Tire offers 400 percent more biting edges than its predecessor and helps fleets reduce fuel costs without compromising on durability, the company says. The drive tire features a high-rigidity tread pattern to control movement of the tire's tread blocks for even wear and reduced rolling resistance, as well as proprietary sidewall technology to limit heat loss, improve fuel efficiency, and reduce overall tire weight. It also offers a stone rejector platform for retreadability. The FD692 is SmartWay verified and CARB compliant. It is available in four sizes.
