The NoVibeHeat brake SHIM from Omnia Advanced Materials is a thin, performated piece of metal placed between two thermal-resistant composite layers that offers both heat shielding and noise dampening capabilities for brakes. The brake SHIM is composed of NBR latex and can be optionally laminated made of metal or inorganic fibers, and currently comes in three options: Corebeat, Coreweb, and Coretech. Each options offers various features including stability, low thermal conductivity, little to no corrosion, and strong NVH properties, the company stated.
