The Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 and LTX Platinum tires were designed to provide high-end performance, even treadwear, and reliable durability. The LTX M/S2 was created using Michelin’s abrasion-resistant Evertread 2.0 compound and is suitable for light trucks and SUVs, uses full-depth interlocking siping to prevent hydroplaning. Available in 54 sizes that cover many 2013 and newer pickups and SUVs. The LTX Platinum was made for heavy-duty and luxury pickups using a tread pattern and compound derived from the company’s heavy truck side. Testing found the Platinum can last twice as long as the LTX M/S model.
