The Lion8 Tractor from Lion Electric is an electric Class 8 semi truck designed for heavy-duty hauling. It features tandem 2-speed Meritor eAxles delivering 1,622 ft-lbs. of torque each, and a gross combined weight rating of up to 127,000 lbs. The truck has a 630 kWh battery, providing a range of up to 275 miles and charging to 80% in 1.5 hours. Additional features include ADAS, an aluminum fifth wheel with 36 in. adjustability, optional rear camera, full aero kit, and rear side steps for easier access. Front and rear suspensions are Hendrickson air and mono-leaf spring, with Meritor EX-L air disc brakes.
