Fullbay and Whip Around to partner on DVIR integration
Through the partnership, the two companies will allow vehicle inspection reports from Whip Around to transfer data to Fullbay and automatically create service requests based on the results.
Fullbay is a Phoenix-based provider of heavy-duty shop management software that routinely provides free resources to independent shop leaders that include free webinars and industry reports, such as the annual State of Heavy Duty Industry Report.
Whip Around provides several digital fleet inspection and management software, such as DVIR software and fuel management tools. The company started in New Zealand and in the U.S. is based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Fullbay and Whip Around are partnering on an integration that will sync data between Whip Around’s fleet management software and Fullbay’s shop management program.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Whip Around and to expand our expertise within the fleet management system (FMS) space,” said Patrick McKittrick, CEO of Fullbay. “We’re excited to help you elevate shop services and, ultimately, keeping fleets safer and road-ready.”
Whip Around’s platform allows drivers, technicians, and fleet managers see real-time updates on their driver vehicle inspections and maintenance work. Through it, users can create work orders, manage defects, get repair and inspection notifications, and track and store a vehicle’s maintenance history, as well as schedule preventative maintenance.
With the integration, driver vehicle inspection report (DVIR) data will be able to transfer between drivers and the shop, automatically creating service requests, the companies said.
"By integrating Whip Around's inspection and defect tracking capabilities with Fullbay's powerful repair management platform, we're empowering fleets to minimize downtime and maximize productivity like never before,” said Noah Hickey, CEO of Whip Around. “This allows our customers to focus on running their businesses while keeping their vehicles safe and compliant.”
The Whip Around software integration is available for customers with a Fullbay Connect Pro or Elite subscription.
