Netradyne enlists AI agents to further fleet safety

The Netradyne Intelligence platform expands on the company's driver safety technology by embedding AI into the workflows.

Netradyne, a provider of AI-powered safety solutions for fleets, has unveiled Netradyne Intelligence, a platform that employs AI agents to increase the effectiveness of a vehicle's existing onboard driver safety suite. Because they automate workflows, this also reduces the burden on fleet managers.

This enables fleets to get even more out of Netradyne's existing AI-based Driver•i system, which combines multiple camera views to capture, process, and alert drivers to potential hazards in real time, without depending on cloud connectivity.

Pairing the exitsting technology with new edge AI technology creates a solution that continuously analyzes driving patterns, identifies risk, and determines interventions before incidents occur or inefficiencies increase. In short, it allows fewer fleet safety managers to cover far more drivers, and when working as designed, should help fleets intervene before a risky event turns into an accident.

"Fleets have invested in building visibility into their operations, but the real challenge now is execution, turning insight into consistent, timely action at scale," said Avneesh Agrawal, CEO and founder of Netradyne. “Netradyne Intelligence is built to solve that problem by embedding AI directly into workflows so fleets can scale efficiently and get deeper, actionable insights without growing their teams."

Netradyne Intelligence also expands the range of risky and inefficient behaviors identified by the company's edge AI system, and better contextualizes a driving event for safety managers. The platform includes full-context driver scoring, AI-recommended coaching, and Video LiveSearch capabilities for locating video footage.

The AI agents, which Netradyne said were trained on 30 billion miles and 150 billion minutes of real-world driving data, will serve three key roles:

  • The Coaching Agent will identify drivers who need attention based on manager-defined goals, preparing each session with driver history, top alerts, and a recommended improvement plan.
  • The Incident Response Agent will automatically compile the full collision record, including video, FNOL details, crash reconstruction, and driver history. These are delivered to the right stakeholders without manual packaging.
  • The Rewards and Reporting agents help on the incentive end, providing DriverStars acknowledgment across the fleet and generating the KPIs, dashboards, and leadership narratives that keep safety programs aligned and moving forward.

"These agents reason about context, execute multi-step workflows, and follow through on behalf of managers based on the policies they set," said Pramod Akkarachittor, Chief Product Officer at Netradyne. "That is what makes Netradyne Intelligence a meaningful step forward — a platform that initiates, acts, and drives outcomes.”
