Carrier Transicold has released two new refrigeration units, the Vector 8811MT and the Supra S10MT. The former is a multi-temperature refrigeration unit for center-divide trailers, and the latter is a diesel-powered unit for multi-temperature straight trucks.
The Vector 9911MT is compliant under California Air Resource Board regulations for transport refrigeration units (TRUs) and is designed for trailers split lengthwise to create two refrigeration compartments. The system provides dual evaporators and fans to eliminate the necessity of using a remote evaporator, simplifying two-zone installations. Additionally, the TRU’s all-electric architecture allows users to manage both climate zones while still leaving space for the center wall, which allows for greater ease arranging pallets on each side.
“The Vector 8811MT brings the industry-leading efficiency and sustainability of our Vector trailer refrigeration platform to grocers, food distributors, and other fleets that use center-wall divided trailers,” said Bill Maddox, senior manager of Product Management, Truck Trailer Americas, Carrier Transicold. “The engine delivers a 96% reduction of particulate emissions compared to its predecessor and is lifetime CARB-compliant without exhaust gas recirculation.”
Additionally, the TRU features a fuel filtration system and diesel oxidation catalyst to reduce particulate, hydrocarbon, and NOx emissions; a built-in electric standby for temperature regulation during loading, unloading, and staging; and comes with Lynx Fleet telematics hardware already installed.

For straight trucks with multi-temperature cargo boxes, Carrier Transicold is offering the Supra S10MT.
“Managing multiple product temperatures in multi-stop truck applications demands precise temperature management and fast recovery after deliveries,” said Scott Parker, product manager of Truck Products, Carrier Transicold. “The Supra S10MT has the power and versatility that truck fleets need, plus the durability and reliability they’ve come to expect from our Supra platform.”
The unit offers 33,000 BTU at 35 degrees F and uses SlimLINE evaporators for each of the two cooling zones in the cargo area. This plus the single- and dual-discharge evaporator design allows for better airflow and temperature control, the company stated.
The Supra S10MT also reduces noise with lower engine speeds and offers APX controls for automated trip-data recording, automated pre-trips, and onboard diagnostics, and comes with the Lynx Fleet telematics solution. Additionally, the company said the S10MT features a 2,000-hour oil service interval and maintenance-free components, such as electric condenser fans and evaporator fan motors, due to their construction from corrosion-free composites instead of metal.
