Hilltip’s AM Series Extended-Auger Spreader is a combination material and liquid spreader designed for interchangeable truck bed systems, allowing the hopper to sit closer to the bulkhead for improved weight distribution. Available in 2.0- to 4.2-cu.-yd. polyethylene hopper capacities, the spreaders use 6" stainless-steel augers to resist corrosion and are driven by 12- or 24-volt dual motors. An integrated vibrator and inverted-V help maintain consistent material flow. Units can be equipped with 220- to 250-gal. liquid tanks with pre-wet and spray options for anti-icing and de-icing. The extended auger is also offered as a retrofit kit, helping fleets adapt existing spreaders to newer bed configurations while improving winter maintenance efficiency.
