The Bär VanLift FreeAccess, distributed in North America by National Fleet Products, is a folding-platform liftgate for European-style cargo vans with a 1,320-lb. lifting capacity while weighing just 373 lbs. The folding platform keeps the right rear door accessible when stowed, allowing drivers to make small deliveries without deploying the liftgate. The VanLift bolts to the van’s factory mounting points, requiring no cutting or welding while maintaining full interior cargo space through its external mounting design. It can also be transferred to another compatible vehicle. Standard equipment includes the Bär SmartControl wireless remote, emergency controls, trolley stops, LED safety lighting, and the VanBridge transition system.
