The International Tool & Equipment Group (ITEG) hosted its 2014 Expo at the St. Charles Convention Center in St. Charles, Mo. recently. Attended by over 60 national brand manufacturers and more than 200 sales and marketing professionals from the ITEG member organizations, the expo was designed to provide small group training by every manufacturer for every participant. With a focus on new products slated for introduction beginning third quarter 2014, the expo represented a concentrated information gathering and selling forum for the member organizations. Sales programs negotiated between ITEG and manufacturers were also presented.
Bill Robinson, president of ITEG, said the expo represents the company’s biggest opportunity to concentrate training and ensure that all of those who sell on behalf of ITEG have the ability to speak with knowledge about the products, programs and opportunities for business growth. “This year’s event was our largest yet, and I can only see this getting bigger each time,” said Robinson. He added, “The sales teams gained valuable product knowledge and are now well versed in the impactful sales programs that will allow them to grow sales for their customers and for their own organizations.“
Held every other year, Expo 2016 will again be held in St. Louis, Mo. where ITEG is headquartered. ITEG is an organization comprised of full service warehouse distributors who supply products and services to the Automotive and Industrial Tool & Equipment markets through over 32 ITEG member locations in the U.S. and Canada.
