    Different sealed battery types require precisely controlled charging.

    Newer style sealed batteries, such as AGM, Gel Cell and Spiral Wound batterie types, require a precisely controlled charging methodology. Charging these battery types with a traditional charger will degrade their performance and reduce their useful life.
