Autel adds two new diagnostic tablets to Ultra S2 line
Autel U.S. has added two diagnostic tablets to its Ultra S2 product line: the MS919 S2 and MS909 S2. These advanced platforms deliver enhanced diagnostics, upgraded hardware, and broader vehicle coverage, both with an 11-in. anti-glare display, a 2.7 GHz 8-core processor, and 256 GB of storage. With Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, they support high-speed updates and reliable remote services.
Key features of the MS919 S2 and MS909 S2 include:
-
Comprehensive vehicle diagnostics: Extensive coverage of U.S., Asian, and European makes, including bidirectional controls, adaptations, coding, and pre/post scan reporting.
-
OEM-level access: Supports security gateway integration for select late-model Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, VW/Audi, and Stellantis vehicles (requires Mercedes, Nissan, or Stellantis AutoAuth accounts; VW/Audi tokens available on-tablet).
-
Advanced data analysis: Enhanced parameter grouping, real-time split-screen oscilloscope (MS919 S2), and new EV-specific test capabilities.
-
VCMI2 communication device (MS919 S2 included): Combines a 4-channel oscilloscope, J2534 pass-thru programming, multimeter, waveform generator, CAN-Bus testing, and Remote Expert support. MS909 S2 includes the new MaxiFlash VCI2 for the latest communication protocols and J2534 pass-thru capabilities.

ADAS and remote diagnostics: Full ADAS calibration readiness (additional software/frame system purchase required) with integrated Remote Expert for on-site vehicle service.
-
Hands-free operation: The “MAX” virtual assistant enables voice commands for faster navigation and workflow management.
-
Digital vehicle inspections: AI-driven image analysis detects damage, integrates tire depth analysis and TPMS tools, and supports complete vehicle assessments.
“The expansion of the Ultra S2 Series with the MS919 S2 and MS909 S2 underscores Autel’s continued investment in delivering innovative diagnostic technologies to the professional aftermarket,” said Michael Flink, VP of Diagnostics at Autel. “These new platforms are designed to help technicians address increasingly complex vehicle systems with accuracy, speed, and confidence.”
The MS919 S2 and MS909 S2 are now available through authorized Autel distributors.
The company also announced it will donate up to $50,000 to No Kid Hungry, a national campaign working to end childhood hunger in America. The donation is part of the company’s Autel Cares Initiative, which commits $100 for every MaxiSYS Ultra S2 diagnostic tablet sold between September and December 31, 2025.
Founded in 2010, No Kid Hungry is a campaign of Share Our Strength, a nonprofit organization focused on fighting hunger and poverty. The group estimates that 1 in 5 children—about 14 million nationwide—live with hunger, and works to expand access to school and community meal programs.
"No Kid Hungry has an ambitious goal, but as it says, 'it's a problem we know how to solve,'" said Chloe Hung, Autel CEO. "We are grateful to be part of such an important mission, and we would like to encourage our corporate partners and users to spread the word about the No Kid Hungry campaign."
The Autel Cares Initiative represents the company’s broader commitment to supporting communities through philanthropy, scholarships, and educational programs. Its ongoing efforts include the Autel Awarding Excellence Scholarship and Autel Inspires, a program that promotes learning and innovation in automotive technology.
