Autel donates 100 diagnostic tablets to ASE-accredited schools
Autel has partnered with the ASE Education Foundation to donate 100 MaxiTPMS TS900 diagnostic and service tablet kits to ASE-accredited high school automotive programs nationwide.
Valued at $100,000, the donation is part of Autel Inspires, a workforce development initiative within the company’s broader Autel Cares program. The tablets are intended to give students hands-on experience with current diagnostic and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) technology used in today’s service bays.
“Today’s automotive students are tomorrow’s essential technicians,” said Autel CEO Chloe Hung. “Through our partnership with the ASE Education Foundation, we’re ensuring young people across the country have access to the technology and tools that power modern service bays.”
High school automotive instructors and program administrators can apply for one of the donated tablets through the Foundation, which will manage the application and selection process. The goal is to place the tools in programs where they can have the greatest impact on technician training.
The MaxiTPMS TS900 combines full-function TPMS service with broader diagnostic and service capabilities. Each kit includes eight programmable Autel 1-Sensor TPMS sensors. The TS900 previously earned recognition as a Motor Top 20 Product Award winner and a PTEN People’s Choice Award recipient.
According to the Foundation, industry partnerships play a key role in addressing the ongoing technician shortage by ensuring students graduate with experience using current-generation equipment.
Autel said additional education and workforce-focused initiatives are planned throughout 2026.
Instructors interested in applying for a donated TS900 tablet can submit an entry form through the ASE Education Foundation application portal here.
