ProMAXX offers ProCutter precision tool

ProMAXX, manufacturer of precision engineered tools, announces the availability of the ProCutter, a precision engineered accessory designed to flatten the damaged stud, remove corrosion and burr on the remaining remnant that restricts broken exhaust manifold stud extraction. 

“Machining a hole dead center and perpendicular to a damaged exhaust manifold mounting stud without cylinder head removal was our first objective -  we have easily accomplished that - with extreme precision. Making extraction even more difficult is the burr (lock washer effect) and corrosion left behind once the stud fails - which prohibits stud extraction and often causes broken screw extractors elongating the time of repair,” said Jeffrey Del Rossa, President of ProMAXX.  

The ProCutter is a precision tool with an aggressive cutting blade that cuts through burrs and removes corrosion leaving it like new in just seconds. This super-fast operation leads to higher extraction rates and reduced risk of a broken extractor.
