The ATEQ VT56 Tire Tread Depth Gauge, an accessory created to use with the company's VT56 TPMS Tool, enables technicians to read tire tread depth quickly and accurately during routine service and maintenance. Applications include routine maintenance, wheel alignment, tire rotation and tire replacement. The tool provides inner, center and outer tire tread depth readings on each tire, and it helps to determine wheel alignment prior to pulling a vehicle onto an alignment rack. The Tire Tread Depth Gauge detects worn tires through outer, center and inner tread readings and even supports the determination of poor wheel alignment. The three measurements taken at each tire are summarized for the technician in visual format indicating Good(Green), Worn (Yellow), Worn Out (Red).
