The SOLAR Digital Battery and System Tester with Integrated Printer, No. BA427, from Clore Automotive, offers a complete testing solution for 6V and 12V batteries, and 12V and 24V charging systems. The BA427 offers an operating range of 1.5V to 30V and can effectively assess discharged batteries. It features an updated body design from the previous model, an expanded testing capacity to 3,000 CCA, direct temperature acquisition from the tested battery, the ability to interface with an optional 600A amp clamp and optional volt probe, a USB outlet and connector cable and battery management software (PC). The BA427 is optimized to test six specific battery types: flooded, AGM flat plate, AGM spiral, gel cell, start-stop AGM and start-stop enhanced flooded batteries.
