The Mac Tools Smart Ear 3, No. ET91932 is designed to pinpoint noises anywhere within a vehicle. The Smart Ear 3 updated software features a user-friendly interface and intuitive operation; the sound level reading displays average, peak and real-time values; analog and digital readings offer three display panels the user can choose from (Wave-form, FFT, or Spectrum; PC version only); the background sound offsetting, sample rates and decibel offsetting can be manually set; a selectable six-channel function allows for multiple location/position diagnostics; a record feature allows for data capturing during road testing or diagnostic testing for future reference or evaluation. The Smart Ear 3 also offers additional hardware features including: the Bluetooth wireless headphones, a detachable sound wand with probe, which provides high quality sound detection, and four color-coded Vibration Sensor Clamps that provide multiple location diagnostics.
