Cox Automotive unites Fleet Services, FleetNet America
Fleet Services and FleetNet America will be joined as of Jan. 1, 2026, and aim to offer customers more service coverage and data access through one platform and integrated systems.
As of Jan. 1, 2026, Cox Automotive is unifying Fleet Services and FleetNet America into one fleet organization. While the conjoined business has no name yet, Cox Automotive said this alignment will add more uptime for fleets through its Fleet Services technicians and FleetNet’s network of 65,000 service providers.
“Cox Enterprises has a 127-year legacy of innovation, transforming fragmented markets into thriving ecosystems,” said Patrick Brennan, senior vice president of Fleet Services. “Through Cox Automotive, we turned scattered car lots into Manheim, the world's largest auto auction marketplace. With this move, our goal is to bring that same organizing power to the fleet ecosystem.”
According to the company, combining both businesses will create a more seamless experience for clients, as well as:
Expanded service coverage through mobile, shop, and captive capabilities
Enhanced data visibility
Streamlined operations through integrated systems
Simplified processes through one platform and business relationship
“By coming together, we’ll offer a better, easier, and more powerful alternative than what [our customers] have today,” said Alex Fraser, vice president of FleetNet. “We’ll help them do more with less—to grow their business and take ours to the next level.”
Before announcing this unification, Cox Automotive appointed Kyle Ballinger as vice president of Fleet Sales to lead the company’s go-to-market strategy for Fleet Services and FleeNet. Now, the company is still in the early stages of bringing its fleet businesses together, but will debut the new brand soon.
