Stertil-Koni production facility delivers 20,000th Mobile Column Lift

July 27, 2023
The Mobile Column Lift is one of the manufacturers most popular Automotive Lift Institute-certified products, a factor which leadership attributed to their milestone delivery.
Heavy-duty vehicle lift manufacturer Stertil-Koni’s U.S. production facility, Stertil ALM, located in Streator, Illinois, has recently produced its 20,000th Mobile Column Lift.

“Our warm congratulations to everyone at Stertil-Koni and Stertil ALM on this achievement,” said Dr. Jean DellAmore, Stertil-Koni president. This milestone, General Manager Scott Steinhardt noted, could be due to how the Mobile Column Lift is the company’s most popular lifting system in North America.

The Mobil Column Lifts utilize hydraulic technology and can have capacities ranging from 14,000 lbs. to 40,000 lbs. per column. Available in wireless, cabled, and EARTHLIFT models, they also feature rapid lifting and lowering and are made from high tensile DOMEX steel. Each lift is also equipped with a full-color touch-screen control console along with a mechanical locking system, overload protection, and automatic synchronization systems.

The recent milestone follows a multi-year plant expansion at Stertil ALM in which the company purchased a 4.5-acre parcel adjacent to its long-standing facility and completed a 36,000-sq.-ft. expansion.
