Enviromotive develops aqueous diesel particulate filter cleaning system

Sept. 27, 2018
The Evacuflush is part of the Evacublast product line of DPF and DOC cleaning equipment.

Enviromotive adds Evacuflush aqueous diesel particulate filter (DPF) cleaning system to their Evacublast product line of DPF and diesel oxidation catalysts (DOC) cleaning equipment.

The Evacuflush system is designed to clean filters quickly while eliminating the strain of lifting and positioning DPFs. The system allows filters to be dry within three hours.

Evacuflush can be added on to existing DPF cleaning systems, and is compatible with DPF cleaning solutions.

After receiving inquiries regarding water cleaning, Enviromotive says it did research and saw benefits to adding this machine to the Evacublast lineup.

The benefits of the Evacuflush include:

  • Ability to clean a coolant soaked DPF or DOC.
  • Clears out residual ash dust.
  • Complies with Detroit Cleaning methods to regain customers who may have specific manufacturer cleaning requirements.
  • Provides customers with an aqueous option for water cleaning requests.

"It should be noted that some DPF Manufacturers still say aqueous cleaning is not recommended," the company says.
