Dent Fix Equipment introduced the Heavy Duty Scissors with Micro Teeth, No. DF-HDS1, and the Heavy Duty Scissors with Cable Cutter and Micro Teeth, No. DF-HDSC1. The Heavy Duty Scissors are designed for cutting plastic, rubber, leather, cloth, gaskets, wire, and other materials. Both Heavy Duty Scissors are equipped with a serrated edge comprised of micro teeth. These teeth grip and hold the material in place for a clean and precise cut. The teeth cut through materials as thin as tissue to more difficult and thicker jobs, like rubber and leather. The micro teeth blade is a heat-treated Martinstic blade with a hardness of HRC:53+2.

The DF-HDSC1 has a U-shaped cable cutter notch on the blade that seats the wire or cable for a secure cut. The Heavy Duty Scissors are spring loaded, allowing technicians to open and close blades smoothly, snip after snip, while deterring blisters and reducing strain. The Scissors also feature a safety lock which can be toggled with a flick of the thumb to ensure proper storage. Heavy Duty Scissors with Cable Cutter and Micro Teeth, No. DF-HDSC1, is 185mm in length, while the Heavy Duty Scissors with Micro Teeth, No. DF-HDS1, is 200mm in length.
