PFC's Corrosion Resistant Protective Coating prevents rust, peeling, corrosion and can resist the effects of extreme temperatures. The PFC coating incorporates Geopolymer technology for strong protection on all surfaces of the brake pad. Under extreme testing procedures, the PFC coating withstands all the elements-including the GM9540P accelerated corrosion testing with extended bakes at 650 degrees F and stands up to road salt and other corrosive chemicals. This results in zero coat peeling and minimal to zero rust, with red rust calculated between only 1 to 5 percent.
