The Matco Tools Line of OEM Oil Filter Tool Kits provide full coverage by vehicle make and model. Each tool is labeled and individually identified so it can be cross-referenced with the detailed application list included in the kit. The tool kits cover both the conventional “spin-on" type filters as well as “element” or “cartridge” type filter housings, more common on late model vehicles. All tools are manufactured from high-strength chrome vanadium steel and sized to provide optimum fit to ensure the tightest of oil filter housings will be removed without slippage and damage. These tools come in a custom blow molded storage case with a drain hose included in kits for vehicles that require draining prior to filter removal.
