The Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Hybrid Four-Function Impact-Hammer-Driver-Drill, No. XPT03Z, offers four functions in one tool. This tool can drive lag bolts, drive screws with clutch settings, drill into concrete and drill into wood, metal and plastic, the company says. The XPT03Z features a 4-pole motor that delivers 1,240 lb-in of max torque, 16 clutch settings and two speeds with a 0 to 700 rpm low and a 0 to 2,300 rpm high. The XPT03Z weighs 4.1 lbs with the battery, and features a built-in LED light to illuminate the work surface for improved efficiency.
