Ashley Champ reviews his AIRCAT 1/2" Compact Impact Wrench, No. 1055-TH, and how it works on everyday on tough jobs.

Ashley Champ, senior automotive technician, 17 years experience, owner operator Mr. Fixit Mobile Auto Repair, works on cars and trucks.

He bought his 1055-TH ½” Compact or "Stubby Impact" for tight front end engine work, but found “a hundred” more uses for it. He likes the way the grip is- it’s got the nice stop at the bottom and the individual finger grips. It works good one handed, when you have greasy gloves on or your hands are greasy. It’s still almost non-slip. So you’re still able to grip it and use it one handed either above your head or hanging way down. He likes the durability of the aluminum guns. He likes to drop his tools from high points, and the 1055-TH seems to take a pretty good beating when it hits the ground and still always works like its supposed to.
