Wabco Holdings Inc. announced that it has received Wabash National’s Pinnacle Award for 2019. The Pinnacle Award, presented by Wabash National’s senior leadership, recognizes Wabash National’s supplier of the year.

In presenting its 2019 Pinnacle Award to Wabco, Nick Adler, vice president of supply chain and business transformation, said, “We pride ourselves on safety at Wabash National, and Wabco provides a great performing product that enhances the safety of our products on the road. In addition, the speed at which Wabco moves and their response times are among some of the best in our supply base.”

Wabco has provided Wabash National with trailer vehicle controls, including anti-lock braking systems, for more than 15 years. This is the first Pinnacle Award for Wabco and its ninth Wabash National supplier award overall.

“On behalf of the entire Wabco team, we are honored to earn Wabash National’s recognition as its top supplier during 2019,” said Pat Kealy, trailer sales leader, Wabco North America. “Vehicle safety is at the center of Wabco’s priorities, which is aligned with Wabash. Wabash is an integral part of our trailer business’ success, and we are committed to deliver outstanding products and value for Wabash and the fleet customers it serves.”

Wabco supplies trailer vehicle controls to Wabash, including EasyStop and Enhanced EasyStop anti-lock braking systems and SmartTrac vehicle roll stability system (RSS).
