50th Anniversary of MATS to be rescheduled

Due to the uncertainty around COVID-19, the 50th Anniversary of MATS will be rescheduled.

Dates currently being evaluated for MATS 50th are September 16-18 or March 24-26, 2022. The group is collaborating with exhibitors and attendees to determine which dates are most viable and a final decision will be made by February 15.

The timeline for evaluation and announcement is as follows:

• January 18: Seek feedback from all of MATS stakeholders
• February 15: Announce final decision on reschedule date
• April 30: Latest date that a further postponement would be announced

With the recent vaccine approvals and the ambitious distribution efforts, the group expects the next two months will provide a clearer path forward for large-scale events. The schedule above provides time to assess those efforts and ensure that the 50th Anniversary of MATS will be a safe and successful event, and will continue to deliver the level of connection, discovery, and face-to-face value we have all come to expect from the trucking industry’s largest annual event, the company said.
