Stertil-Koni USA names Scott Steinhardt president

Jan. 4, 2024
After nearly 30 years of service, Stertil-Koni's Dr. Jean DellAmore is stepping down as president to be succeeded by Scott Steinhardt.

Scott Steinhardt will succeed Dr. Jean DellAmore as president of Stertil-Koni USA. DellAmore has been the only president of the European lift manufacturer's American offshoot, starting the role in 1987.

Steinhardt joined Stertil-Koni USA as VP of sales in 2022 and was named general manager in 2023. He brings more than 28 years of industry sales, marketing, and distributor management experience to the position.

“We are delighted to welcome Scott into his new and expanded role and are confident that with his leadership skills, dedicated focus and formidable determination, this development is a logical and thoughtful pathway to continue the success and growth of Stertil-Koni for the benefit of our distributors, our customers and our employees across North America,” said Marcel Jansen, marketing and Sales director/chief commercial officer for the Stertil Group, who noted DellAmore was a "vehicle-lift industry legend."

DellAmore will stay within the parent company, having been appointed president of Nussbaum North America Ltd., an automotive vehicle lift company that is also part of the Stertil Organization.
