The National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence’s (ASE) new officers and board members began their terms as of Jan. 1, including ASE’s new president and CEO, Dave Johnson. The transition also included one other officer, four board leadership changes, and eight new board members.

Johnson succeeds Tim Zilke, who retired on Dec. 31 and served the ASE for over 30 years. Johnson has been in the industry for almost 40 years and previously worked as the global director of Ford Motor Company’s service engineering operations.
