Aftertreatment Diagnostics Let’s begin by launching Aftertreatment Diagnostics from the JPRO toolbar and examining the checklist. Notice the top item in red, which states to review the vehicle history. Doing so can help you understand how the issue was previously solved, or let you avoid a similar misdiagnosis. Now let’s go back to JPRO’s home screen and launch Fault History. Select a fault from the list. If the Click to Launch Fault History button is active, select it. Now you can see all instances of this fault from previous connections. If your organization handled the repair, locate and examine the repair order. If the issue was fixed, you may need to follow a similar procedure. If the previous repair was only a temporary solution, you know not to repeat the mistake and can begin troubleshooting elsewhere. Remember, the next time an aftertreatment issue arises, check the fault history feature available with your JPRO subscription.
