NACFE webinar explores propane's role in mid-range truck fleets

Fleet leaders from McAbee Trucking, Bimbo Bakeries USA, Office Depot, and PERC will discuss how propane-powered trucks are helping reduce emissions and operating costs during a July 29 NACFE webinar.

The North American Council for Freight Efficiency (NACFE) will host a free webinar, "Using Propane in Mid-Range Trucks," on Wednesday, July 29, at 1 p.m. ET.

The webinar will examine how fleets are using propane-powered medium-duty trucks to reduce emissions and lower operating costs. Topics will include propane's ultra-low NOx emissions, near-zero particulate matter (PM) emissions, and its potential to reduce total cost of ownership for commercial fleets.

NACFE Executive Director Mike Roeth will moderate the discussion, while Jeff Seger, NACFE's clean energy consultant, will provide an overview of propane technology and its applications before a fleet panel.

Panelists include Lisa McAbee, vice president of McAbee Trucking; Eric McCann, senior director of fleet operations for Bimbo Bakeries USA; Erik Smith, senior manager of private fleet operations for Office Depot; and Joel Stutheit, senior manager of autogas business development for the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC).

Attendance is free. Interested participants can register through NACFE's webinar page here.
