Old World Industries will host the final installment of its five-part DEFinitive Insights webinar series on November 10, focusing on diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) deposit prevention and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system performance.

The 45-minute webinar, titled "Deposit Prevention: Clarity, Expertise, and the Future of Diesel Exhaust Fluid," will examine the causes of DEF-related deposits, where they form within SCR systems, and the operating conditions that contribute to buildup.

"In this final episode, our experts will explore what causes DEF-related deposits, where they form, the operating conditions that contribute to buildup, and how advanced DEF technology can help reduce deposit formation and protect SCR system performance," said Darryl Ricca, senior channel marketing manager with Old World Industries. "As with earlier episodes, the session is geared toward fleet managers, maintenance professionals, diesel equipment owners and operators, and others responsible for DEF quality and SCR system performance."

Presenters include Celeste Silva, product line engineer at Old World Industries, and Chris Mede, product manager. Scott Bredenberg, the company's training manager, will moderate the discussion.

The webinar will take place Tuesday, November 10, from 1 to 1:45 p.m. EST (noon to 12:45 p.m. CST).
